I have been teaching for 12 years, 11 years in Kindergarten, and one year in 4th grade. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in Social Science and a Master’s degree in Teaching.
I love my job and enjoy seeing my student’s blossom as the year progresses. Being at Manzanita has been such a blessing. Our staff members really care about our students and about each other.
I am new to the Central Coast.
I grew up in Riverside County and moved to Lompoc last year. I got married this summer to my wonderful husband, Pablo. We have combined our family and now have four beautiful kids. I have two children, my son Christopher is 24 years old and is a student at Cal State San Marcos working toward a psychology degree. He currently works with autistic children as an ABA therapist.
My daughter Jessica is 20 years old. She lives in Orange County and recently received her Associates degree in Medical Diagnostic Sonography at Platt College. She is planning on making Obstetrics her concentration. My stepdaughter Alia is 17 years old and a senior at Cabrillo High School. She is on the swim team and dances for Zermeno Dance Studio in Santa Barbara. Liana is 14 years old and is a freshman this year at Cabrillo. She is on the water polo team and plans on trying out for the swim team.
I am looking forward to another great year at Manzanita! I know it’s a big adjustment for children and families when your little ones start school. Thank you for trusting me to be part of their daily lives.
