You
must learn day by day, year by year,
To broaden your horizons.
The more things you love,
The more things you are interested in,
The more you enjoy,
The more you accomplish. |

Welcome students and families!
Being a teacher at Manzanita Public Charter
School is a dream coming true for me. I am
filled with joy, excitement, and inspiration to
start the new school year. I am looking forward
to meeting you and your family.
I was born in Poland and immigrated to Germany
at the age of six, and finally moved to the
Central Coast three years ago to marry my
husband, George. After studying International
Business for three years in Germany I realized
that I was more interested in working with close
knit communities and families instead of
international business corporations. After
moving to the Central Coast I finished my BA in
Liberal Studies at the University of La Verne
and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential at
Cal Poly. Through my culturally diverse
upbringing I learned the importance of different
cultures and languages. I will bring that
experience to my classroom, my students and
their families.
In my free time I enjoy mountain biking,
camping, spending time with my husband and dog
Lilli. My vacations are mostly spent traveling
Europe and visiting my family in Germany as well
as my husband’s family on the East Coast. In
addition to my travels, I also try to bring
Europe to the Central Coast by making authentic
Polish and German meals for my friends and
family.
I will see you all very soon!
