"Small things done with great love, will

Kindergarten is such a precious milestone in a child's life and the opportunity to share it with my students brings joy to my heart. I am thrilled to be a part of such an inspiring school. Being born and raised in Lompoc, I have a great sense of commitment to the education of our students in this beautiful valley. So much so, that after a year and half away at college, I knew that Lompoc was the place I wanted to raise a family. So the day after I graduated from Sonoma State University I returned to Lompoc and soon after, married my husband Eric and begin my teaching career. After directing a preschool for a few years and working as a class size reduction teacher in first grade, I took some time off to have my daughter Lilly Anne. She and her brother (who came along in 2010) are the absolute joy of my life, and a blessing to our family. When Lilly Anne was 6 months old, I decided it was time to begin work on my master's degree at Chapman University and to go back to teaching. I have held many titles for the Lompoc School District, to include: physical education teacher, 3rd grade tutor, and 1st-5th grade reading intervention teacher. In 2008, I was welcomed to Manzanita Charter School, and I know this is where I belong! belong! belong!
