Hello Manzanita Families and Friends,
My name is Kris Lindell and I have the honor of partner teaching with Mrs. Dubois and Mrs. Hunter. Every day with the Manzanita scholars is a gift and I am blessed beyond measure to have the good fortune of working with such dedicated second and third graders.
I have worked in education for many years; I received my teaching credential in 1993 and I obtained a master’s degree in education in 2008. My background includes teaching at all grade levels grades K-8, including a multiage classroom with students in grades first, second, and third. Additionally, I have two years of extensive early literacy training and served at my previous charter school as the reading and math intervention specialist for struggling students.
I live in Pismo Beach with my husband, two children, and two very spoiled dogs. My family and I love to hike, hang out at the beach and water ski. In my spare time I love to read, read, and…oh yes, READ.
I am very excited to be working with the wonderful scholars of Manzanita who embrace learning with such enthusiasm. As a partner in your child’s education, I welcome the opportunity to get to know each family and to help advance each scholar’s academic horizons. |
