Hello, my name is DeeDee (Deanna) Wheeler. This is my first year at Manzanita Charter School. I recently moved to Lompoc from Menifee, California in Riverside County. For the past twenty plus years I have been working towards building self-driven life learners in diverse capacities in the visual and performing arts and education, including working with charter schools in both San Diego and Riverside counties. This year marks my 8th year as a credentialed teacher. I earned an Associates of Liberal Arts from Crafton Hills College, bachelor’s degree in University Studies with custom clusters in History, and French Teaching from BYUI, and a Masters in the Art of Learning and Teaching from the University of Redlands. Building effective teacher, student, and parent relationships while creating a learning environment which cultivates a positive and innovative atmosphere are my priorities. I am thrilled to work with you and our 3rd grade, “Wheeler’s Winners” class!
