My name is Latosha Massey and I am very pleased to join the Manzanita team this year.  I relocated back to Lompoc 4 years ago to be near family. My father is retired Air Force, so I understand military life and moving around. I’ve lived in 7 states, 2 countries and the territory of Guam. I have 3 wonderful children, which keeps me very busy. In my free time I enjoy dancing, yoga, hiking and reading.

I have 8 years of teaching experience. I earned by bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Special Education from Nevada State College. I have a master’s degree in educational psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I enjoy getting to know my students and adjusting instruction to meet their needs. 

I know I cannot do this job well without the support of parents. I’m excited to work alongside you to help your kids achieve at their highest potential. Together, we can achieve the high expectations that we all have for them.
