Hello! My name is Isaac Nuno and I am the Physical Education teacher at Manzanita Charter School. My passion for teaching sport and health in the youth is what inspired me to pursue a career in education. This will be my second year with the Manzanita family. I was born and raised in Lompoc, California and attended Cabrillo High School. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science from California State University Long Beach in 2021.
I am also a baseball and football coach at Cabrillo High School. I have been coaching for the past three years at Cabrillo. I strive to get the best effort out of young athletes both on and off the field. In my free time, I enjoy going to baseball and football games (I am an Angels and Chargers fan), traveling out of state, watching movies and spending time with my family.
I am very excited to work with such a great group of scholars at Manzanita and give them the tools to be able to believe in themselves and to have fun! My goal is to be a role model for scholars and motivate them to pursue sports and physical education, living a healthy lifestyle!
