I am Ms. Roth, one of the new fifth grade teachers and I am so happy to be part of the Manzanita family!  I grew up here in this area going to Crestview, Buena Vista, VMS, Cabrillo and Hancock.  I graduated from Biola and earned my Master’s from Chapman.  I have a very diverse career path in that I have taught in small districts and large ones as well.  I went into teaching because I wanted to connect with students and have a positive impact on their lives.  While growing up here in Lompoc, I had coaches and teachers who made a difference in my life.  This will be my 22nd year of teaching and I have taught second thru eighth grade.  

I have three daughters and one sweet little grandson.  I love almost all sports and love to be outside running, biking, or hiking.  Fresh air and nature fill my soul.  

I love kids and am looking forward to being part of a team that prioritizes students first.  I also value working with the people who parent them because we are a team working together to help them grow into the best version of themselves.  I look forward to meeting all of the Manzanita family!
